Welcome Friends to Penn to Paper
Welcome Friends to Penn to Paper! We strive to provide all our guests the best food and service when dining with us. Penn to Paper commemorates Penn Jones Jr., a journalist who owned and operated the Midlothian Mirror from 1946-1974. Penn was a controversial writer, he believed the assassination of President JFK was planned by the government. Penn wrote the four-volume book called Forgive My Grief. Due to his controversial views the Midlothian Mirror was firebombed in 1962. The firebomb did not stop him, Penn kept writing. In honor of Penn Jones Jr. we have hung some of his work on the wall, preserved the damaged floor from the firebomb and also named some menu items after him.
